My husband and I have two wonderful children, an eight year old son who is hard of hearing and a four year old daughter who has typical hearing.
What are your credentials/past experience, for working in your position: I have always had a passion for working with children and families. I started my career in elementary education where I taught kindergarten through fifth grade in CCSD. I also had the opportunity to obtain my Master’s Degree from UNLV in Teaching English as a Second Language.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working: I love to be creative in any capacity so when I’m not busy working as an advocate I enjoy painting, baking, writing, and playing with my kids.
Best Advice I’ve received: Courage over comfort.
