"What works for your child is what makes the choice right."
Welcome to Nevada Hands & Voices
Our mission at Nevada Hands & Voices (NVHV) is to be a parent-driven, non-profit organization that exists to support, encourage, and educate families of Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) children, so that they can be empowered to make choices that will enable their children to achieve their full potential.
We are a parent/professional collaborative group that is unbiased towards communication modes and methods. Our diverse membership includes those who are deaf, hard of hearing and their families who communicate orally, with sign, cue, and/or combined methods.

This is a series from Hands & Voices that's designed to help families and the professionals working with them access information, diverse perspectives, and further resources to assist them in raising and educating children who are deaf or hard of hearing.

We think THE TIME IS NOW for Hands & Voices families and professionals—every one of them linked in the community of the deaf and hard of hearing--sharing the same thought: to move beyond the methodology wars and join our Hands & Voices mission of non-biased support to families with children with hearing loss.
