The goal of the program is to ensure young Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) children have access to hearing devices, un-biased parent-to- parent support and early intervention services in a timely fashion. This program aims to assist in the journey of parenting a DHH child so they may reach developmentally appropriate speech & language goals.
The Nevada Hands & Voices Hearing Device Loaner Program is designed to allow a family time (6 months to 1 year maximum) to seek permanent amplification through insurance or other means, without letting their child go without auditory access. Nevada Hands & Voices (NVHV) works with trusted community audiologists to fit, program & adjust the loaned devices for your child.
Loaned devices are provided at no cost.
*Loan does not include the cost of replacement batteries for the duration of the loan.
