DHH Guides are a diverse group of Deaf, deaf and hard of hearing adults who compliment the work of Guide by Your Side Parent Guides by working alongside them. DHH Guides share with children and families their unique life experiences, use of technology, how they navigate social situations, how they developed their personal identity, and answer other questions as appropriate.
Open position in Northern Nevada. Applicants must be available to attend Language Play Group in Reno on the 2nd Friday of each month.
ASTra Advocates are parents, DHH adults, and/or professionals who will undergo specialized training to provide educational advocacy support to families with children who are Deaf, deaf, hard of hearing, deafblind, or deaf with additional disabilities.
