Reanna Stroup

Reanna lives in Carson City with her husband, Todd, and daughter, Kennedy (10 months). She is a licensed teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and is endorsed in teaching American Sign Language (ASL) for K-12. Reanna has a Master’s degree in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education, a Bachelor’s in Psychology, and two Associates degrees (Deaf studies & General Studies) and a Certificate of Achievement in ASL. She completed her student teaching internship at the Willamette Education Service District in Oregon where she also volunteered for Oregon Hands & Voices. During that time, Reanna also traveled to Ghana where she presented in a workshop and at the Deaf & Hearing Children in a Multilingual World Conference. She has taught several ASL classes at Western Nevada College in the past and enjoyed teaching in Washoe County School District as an itinerant teacher for the Deaf from 2020-2022. Reanna is taking a small break from full-time teaching to spend more time with her daughter and has joined Nevada Hands & Voices as an ASTra Advocate to stay involved in the community and support families of Deaf and Hard of Hearing children.
