What is Growing Book by Book?
Books play a crucial role in children's growth in a variety of ways—emotionally, intellectually, socially, and even physically in some cases. As part of Nevada Hands & Voices’ mission to support, encourage, and educate families of Deaf and Hard of Hearing children, we are proud to offer our Growing Book by Book Lending Library as well as our Growing Book by Book monthly literacy events. These resources, funded in part by the Early Hearing and Detection Intervention (EHDI) Program, are designed to help DHH children continue in their growth to reach their full potential.

The NVHV Lending Library is a collection of books available to Nevada Hands & Voices families for free. There are hundreds of books to choose from for all readers, including books featuring different languages, modalities, hearing technology, and Deaf and Hard of Hearing characters. Many books are available as recommended by the Hands & Voices O.U.R. Project, Hands & Voices CIRCLE of Change, and the American Society for Deaf Children.
