DHH Parent Lecture Series
California Hands & Voices and Nevada Hands & Voices are excited to co-host an 8-month Parent Series, sponsored by RIT/NTID.In April, RIT will provide an overview of their programs, including opportunities for middle and high school youth. Youth and parents are both encouraged to attend.This will be followed by the Department of Rehabilitation, who in May will share information about their services—especially those relevant to the families we serve. Youth and parents are both encouraged to attend this as well. The entire series is free to attend. ASL interpreters are sponsored by RIT, and CA H&V will provide Spanish interpreters for each session. Zoom auto-captions will also be enabled. We will also be offering sessions later in the series for families with younger children.
