Aubree Uribe lives in Reno, NV with her husband. She started losing her hearing around 3 years of age. Once her parents found out she was losing her hearing, they got her hearing aids and enrolled her at Hidden Valley Elementary where she learned sign language and joined speech therapy. She graduated Wooster High School with an Advanced Diploma in 2023 where she was enrolled in the Deaf Program. Today she has a cochlear implant on her left ear and a hearing aid on her right and uses sign language as her second language, English is her first. Aubree’s mission is to be a role model for Deaf/ Hard-of-Hearing children and to give them confidence in who they are as a Deaf/ Hard-of-Hearing person.
