Las Vegas has always been Honey’s home! As a single mother of two children, advocacy is a strong skill she has and something she practices regularly in her life. She is passionate about education. Honey fell in love with Deaf culture and history during her educational journey as she earned her degree in Deaf studies from Nevada State. She does not come from a traditional family, and she feels that this specific factor is a benefit for her and others that she interacts with. This has given her the ability to relate to diverse families of various backgrounds and experiences with flexibility, while allowing her to have an open mind when exploring problem solving solutions and overcoming barriers.
