Jesica Ford brings more than 15 years of nursing and healthcare leadership experience to the Nevada Hands & Voices Board of Directors. Her career has spanned roles such as Chief Nursing Officer, Rotor and Fixed Wing Flight Nurse, Critical Care Nurse, and Case Management Leader. In each position, she has focused on improving patient outcomes, strengthening community healthcare resources, and mentoring future healthcare leaders.
Jesica’s passion for advocacy is also deeply personal. Her granddaughter has a hearing difference, which inspires her commitment to ensuring families have access to the education, resources, and support they need. In addition, Jesica has served on the board of a nonprofit supporting adults with intellectual disabilities, where she focused on development and advocacy.
With her blend of professional expertise, nonprofit leadership, and personal connection, Jesica brings a unique perspective to Nevada Hands & Voices. She is dedicated to empowering families and helping every child who is Deaf and Hard of Hearing thrive.
Jesica lives in Elko, Nevada, where she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, as well as investing in real estate and engaging in community service.
