Tara lives in North Las Vegas with her husband Jeff and their two children Grace (15) and Emersyn (11). She has worked as a teacher for Clark County School District for 19 years, with the most recent 10 years being in Kindergarten. When she’s not working, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. Tara’s oldest daughter, Grace, was born with C.H.A.R.G.E. Syndrome, which includes severe/profound hearing loss. They have spent many years attending NVHV events, and Tara is excited to now work with the fantastic Board of Directors to better serve the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community.
